Leonardo DiCaprio’s Cannes Red Carpet Sunglasses Are Worth Buying (and Flexing)

There is perhaps no better feeling than wearing something worth mentioning, and then having it mentioned. You’ve likely experienced it before: You just stepped out of the house, you’re feeling yourself, headed to the function, and upon arrival you’re greeted with praise. “Where’d you get those?” “Cool [garment]!” “Love the [Accessory].”

You’ve done good, kid. And that’s exactly what will happen if you grab a pair of Garret Leight’s Beach Sun sunglasses. Not only because they look damn good, but because you’ll have a much better follow up available than just “Thanks!” No, with this pair of shades you’ll want to reply, “Oh, these are the sunglasses Leonardo DiCaprio wore on the Cannes red carpet at the premier of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood, which he also stars in!”

You shouldn’t say that. Sure, you’ll want to, but most often, knowing without saying is much, much more acceptable.

Yesterday, we clued you in on Garrett Leight’s shades because Leo’s co-star, Brad Pitt, wore an eternally stylish pair of the brand’s sunglasses. Where Brad opted for a modern twist on the classic wayfarer, Leo went the route of a more squared frame (which is very cool and not at all square in that sense.) Both men pulled it off beautifully, probably because they know what kind of frames are best for their face shape. Did you know that’s a thing? Get to know why that’s a thing, here.

As it goes with this sort of thing, you, me, and anyone else who picks these frames up won’t be able to look as good as Leo—that’s reserved for Leo. But if this frame’s right for your face, there’s no sun-shining scenario that you can’t bust them out for.
